People involved in drug and alcohol activities will be socially boycotted

Panchayat took a big decision under the leadership of Mukhiya in Mohanpur Panchayat

Koshi Zone, Saharsa. A meeting was organized between the public representatives and villagers of the Panchayat on Sunday in Bichla Tola of Mohanpur Panchayat under Simri Bakhtiyarpur block area to stop illegal drug and alcohol activities under the leadership of the Mukhiya of the Panchayat. The Panchayat unanimously decided that if any person of the Panchayat is found involved in the above activities, he will be socially boycotted. Hundreds of villagers participated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Panchayat Mukhiya Sanjeev Kumar Jaiswal. It was unanimously decided in the meeting that if any person is caught selling any kind of drug or alcohol in any Tola or Mohalla inside the Panchayat, then such person will first be explained at the social level. If he does not agree, legal action will be taken against him.  It was said in the meeting that if any person in the society works against the society like theft, drug abuse, molestation or any other incident is committed by any person, then such people will be punished at the social level. After this, if he does not agree and there is talk of legal action against such person, then the society will also stand with the law. On this occasion, hundreds of villagers including Shriram Barhai, Manohar Ram, Brahmadev Tanti, Kailash Barhai, Baiju Tanti, Anil Sah, Kishore Sah, Shravan Paswan, Dukarchand Paswan, Riti Chandra Das, Mukesh Sah, Nandan Barhai, Prabhu Das were present.
