Koshi Zone - Former MLA Kishore Kumar has strongly criticized Nitish Kumar and the BJP government over the murder of Jawahar Yadav, the president of Janata Dal U of Kahra block, in broad daylight in Barayahi market. He said that this incident highlights the failure of the government. Kishore Kumar said, "The murder of Jawahar Yadav is a symbol of the end of the credibility of the Nitish-BJP government. Yadav had informed the police administration a week ago about the threat to his life, but despite this he was not provided security, which shows the gross negligence of the administration." The former MLA also said that gundaraj has been established in the state and this government is now far away from the claim of good governance.  He alleged that crimes have increased since the appointment of a woman police station in-charge in Bangaon, and the state police, instead of preventing crime, is busy confiscating liquor, protecting land mafia and extorting money from sand mafia. Kishore Kumar said that "the government should provide security to Jawahar Yadav's family and give them a compensation of Rs 1 crore." He also said that two block presidents of Janata Dal U have been killed recently in the state, which makes it clear that no one is safe in this state now. The former MLA demanded Nitish Kumar and the BJP government to resign from their posts, saying that such a government does not have the right to stay in power even for a moment. He stressed that even after arresting criminals in the state, their trial takes years, and the criminals come out on bail. He demanded strict action against this negligence from the government.
