Koshi Zone, Saharsa Police's prompt action and promptness of Banma Ithari police station arrested 05 accused with illegal firearms and cartridges before they could commit a crime. On Wednesday, Cyber ​​DSP Ajit Kumar gave information in a press conference and said that the night patrol officer of Banma Ithari police station received secret information that 05 youths riding motorcycles have gathered at Priyanagar bridge under the police station area with weapons and cartridges with the intention of committing a major criminal incident.


Taking immediate action on the said information, as soon as the night patrol team of Banma Ithari police station reached near Priyanagar bridge, 05 youths tried to escape by turning their motorcycles on seeing the police vehicle, the 05 youths who were running away were caught by the police team. 01 country-made pistol, 01 pistol, 13 live cartridges and 02 magazines were recovered from the arrested youths.  In this regard, Banma Ithari police station case number-94/24 was also registered. Due to the successful solving of cases under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Himanshu, the public's trust in Saharsa police is increasing which is commendable.
