Sex health should also be taught in India - Supreme Court
Koshi Zone, Saharsa. The Supreme Court of India (Supreme Court) issued a directive regarding sex health on Tuesday, September 24. Regarding sex health, the Supreme Court said that it is wrong to consider sex education as a western concept. It does not increase immorality among the youth, its education is very important in India. The Supreme Court said that people in India believe that sex education is against Indian values. For this reason, sex education has been banned in many states. Due to the ban on sex education, the youth are not able to get correct and accurate information. Due to not getting the right information, the youth resort to the Internet where they get a lot of misleading information. The Supreme Court said that a research has shown that it is important to give correct sex education. A study conducted on more than 900 teenagers in Maharashtra found that students who did not have the right information about reproduction and sexual health were more likely to have early sexual relations. It is very important that we start removing misconceptions about sex education. Give correct information about its benefits to everyone, so that we can improve the results of sex health.
Supreme Court....
Many parents and teachers believe that talking about sex is a matter of embarrassment. Because of this thinking, people hesitate to talk openly about sex health, due to which teenagers do not get the necessary information.
