District administration should take strict action against land mafias - Chief Secretary
Koshi Zone, Saharsa. Under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Bihar, a detailed review of the works done department wise, the updated implementation status of the ongoing schemes was done and appropriate guidelines were given. Under the Home Department, instructions have been given to provide land for arms license verification, renewal of data on the establishment NDAL portal, police station building related to landless police stations, construction of traffic police station building, construction of District Commandant Office. Under the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, regular review of revenue works, detailed review of rejected cases under Abhiyan Basera and strict action against land mafia have been instructed. Under General Administration, instructions have been given to immediately execute the pending cases related to district wise updated status of pending DC bill related to caste based census, CP Gram, public complaints. Under the Sports Department, the current status of formation of sports club at the Panchayat level, the current implementation status of land availability for construction of sports infrastructure as per international standards in the divisional headquarters were reviewed. Under the Transport Department, instructions have been given to conduct regular intensive raids against overloaded vehicles, current status of payment under the second phase of Mukhyamantri Gram Parivahan Yojana. Necessary action has been directed to construct a driving testing track, and to hold regular meetings of the Road Safety Committee. Under Mines and Geology, discussions were held regarding mining royalty and sand ghats. During the review meeting held through video conferencing, the work being done by the Public Relations Department, Art Culture and Youth Department, Science and Technology Department was also reviewed and instructions were given to properly discharge the prescribed responsibilities. District Magistrate Vaibhav Chaudhary and other concerned were present during the meeting.
